Liv Morgan Regains Women's World Championship at WWE Money in the Bank 2026

Liv Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch to win back the Women's World Championship at WWE Money in the Bank 2026, while Tiffany Stratton won the women's ladder match and Roman Reigns retained his World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight.

Liv Morgan is once again the Women's World Champion after defeating Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch in a triple threat match at WWE Money in the Bank 2026. The victory marks Morgan's second reign with the title, reclaiming the championship she lost earlier this year.

The event, held at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, delivered a night of high-stakes action and shocking moments. Morgan's win capped off a dramatic evening that also saw Tiffany Stratton emerge victorious in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match, earning a guaranteed future title shot.

Stratton's path to the briefcase was anything but smooth. The match featured a series of heart-stopping spots that left both competitors and fans breathless. Early in the contest, Stratton attempted a daring swanton dive from a ladder outside the ring, but her momentum carried her headfirst onto the padded floor. Officials rushed to check on her as the crowd fell silent, but she managed to continue and ultimately secured the win, becoming only the second woman ever to win the Money in the Bank match twice.

Another terrifying moment came when Sol Ruca executed a frog splash on Lash Legend, sending both wrestlers crashing through a ladder that was wedged between the ring apron and the announce table. Legend writhed in pain, and Ruca needed a moment to recover, but both eventually continued. Later, Jacy Jayne and Lola Vice fell backward off a ladder and slid out of the ring, their backs scraping against the ladder's rungs. The brutal sequence eliminated them from contention, leaving Stratton and Ruca to battle for the briefcase.

In the end, Stratton's resilience paid off. She and Ruca fought atop the ladder until Jayne pushed it over, causing Ruca to hang onto the briefcase hook before dropping onto the pile of competitors below. Stratton seized the opportunity, grabbing the briefcase to secure her second Money in the Bank victory. She previously won in 2024 and successfully cashed in on Nia Jax to win the WWE Women's Championship.

The night also featured a thrilling World Heavyweight Championship match, where Roman Reigns successfully defended his title against LA Knight. Knight, who had been chasing his first world title, pushed Reigns to the limit in what many are calling the best match of his career. He hit a jumping superplex, locked in the Burning Hammer, and even powerbombed Reigns through the announce table. At one point, Knight came within a millisecond of pinning Reigns, causing the crowd to rally behind the challenger. However, Reigns ultimately prevailed, hitting multiple Superman punches and avoiding a spear to counter with a BFT. The victory solidifies Reigns' dominance as champion.

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul «Triple H» Levesque had promised fans a night of breath-holding action, and the event delivered. From Stratton's scary fall to Knight's near-upset, Money in the Bank 2026 will be remembered for its unforgettable moments and the crowning of a new—and familiar—champion in Liv Morgan.
