Skydance’s JB Perrette unveils leadership team and announces several executive departures
JB Perrette, co-chair and chief business officer of Skydance TV and Skydance Direct-to-Consumer, has named his executive team and said several executives from the pre-merger Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Skydance entities will not be joining the combined company.
JB Perrette, co-chair and chief business officer of Skydance TV and Skydance Direct-to-Consumer, has unveiled his new executive structure and announced that several executives from the pre-merger Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Skydance entities he now oversees will leave the combined company. The changes follow the formation of Skydance this month through the merger of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery.
Among those exiting the combined company are Dan Barnes, Michael Bishara, Jamie Cooke and Domenic, according to the announcement of the leadership changes. The reshaping of the management team comes as the newly formed company works to integrate its television and direct-to-consumer operations under a single leadership structure.
The leadership announcement is part of a broader series of organizational appointments at Skydance. Reports on the restructuring also note a pending opening for the leader of Pluto TV, the free ad-supported streaming service, which indicates that further management decisions are still being made as the new company takes shape.
Separately, Warner Bros. International TV Production, the division that operates around 20 production companies worldwide that make international versions of formats such as The Bachelor, has moved under Skydance TV Studios. The unit, run by President Ronald Goes, will be overseen by Channing Dungey in her role with Warner Bros. Television, linking the international production operation to the new Skydance television structure.
The moves signal how the merged company is distributing responsibility across its television studios, streaming services and international production arms. Perrette’s structure places him at the center of the television and direct-to-consumer business, while the transfer of the international production division shows the company realigning assets acquired in the merger.
